Barack Obama has been on a world tour and he is making troubling comments against President Trump while on this trip.
He seems to be acting as though he were in fact still the President.
Here he is with President Xi Jinping for example, with whom Trump just met last a couple of weeks ago and how the visit is being described.

From New York Daily News:
Obama arrived on Tuesday in Shanghai, where he was to speak at a business conference before traveling to Beijing to speak at an education event. He also planned to meet there with Chinese President Xi Jinping, who hosted Trump for a high-profile visit only a few weeks earlier. Obama’s office said they planned to discuss the global economy, climate change and other issues.
And here’s from Bloomberg:
Obama opened his trip Tuesday in Shanghai, where he delivered a speech at an event hosted by business non-profit the Global Alliance of SMEs, which was attended by some 2,500 industry executives, according to the organization’s website. He stressed in his speech that China-U.S. relations were the most consequential bilateral ties in the world, and dialogue was the only way to solve disagreements, according to the Shanghai-based news website the Paper.
As part of the three-nation tour, he’ll also meet with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Obama’s office said in a news release Tuesday that the former president had “forged a close and cooperative partnership with President Xi on issues ranging from growing the global economy to combating climate change, and he looks forward to catching up with his former counterpart.”
So here’s the problem.
He doesn’t represent the United States anymore and his positions are not the same as the current administration. He has no right to talk about anything. If for example, Trump is trying to play a hard hand to China, Obama coming in saying ‘oh dialogue is the only way’ may be nullifying the stick Trump is trying to yield.
He’s inserting himself, improperly, during a very delicate period of negotiations over trade but particularly over North Korea, a problem which Obama exacerbated.
He also went to India and he is now in France.

And while abroad, he has been making comments directed at mocking and attacking Trump.
While in India, he spoke about Trump.
Actually that’s not true, Obama directly referenced Trump many times. Here he’s trying to rub it in that he has more Twitter followers than Trump:
“And look, I’ve got 100 million Twitter followers. I actually have more than other people who use it more often,” said Obama, followed by, “Think before you tweet.”
And now in Paris, he undermined Trump policies and said, ‘We have a temporary absence of American leadership’ on climate change.
From Washington Examiner:
“I grant you that at the moment we have a temporary absence of American leadership on the issue,” the former president noted, which was met with laughter from the room full of French former ministers and CEOs at the invite-only event, according to Reuters.
However, he noted, “you’re seeing American companies and states and cities continuing to work” to meet targets and stay on track.
Once again, that would be nullifying or talking against the current policy of the United States.
The United States has one president now, and it is not Barack Obama.
There is a word for this and it’s called a Logan Act violation, the point of which is to prevent private citizens like Obama from talking against the policy of the U.S. government.
No one’s been pursued legally under this act, but someone really needs to tell him to stop it, curtail his actions or face some consequences.
