President Donald Trump and his family were in Florida celebrating at Mar-a-Lago over the Thanksgiving weekend. But there was a moment of some concern for the Secret Service.
Trump and his wife took time out on Thanksgiving to visit a nearby Coast Guard station to thank them for their service and bring them some food for the holiday.
Trump also took time out for some golf. And it was when he was coming back from a round of golf, on his way back to Mar-A-Lago that an angry driver tried to cut off President Trump’s motorcade and local law enforcement had to intervene to stop him.
From Biz Pac Review:
“A man in a red van attempted to cut into the motorcade. Local law enforcement pulled over the vehicle, where the driver made obscene gestures and screamed several expletives,” according to a White House pool report.
What he was trying to do is not clear, but it obviously wasn’t good.
This isn’t the first time that the motorcade has had to deal with an apparently anti-Trump person.

In early November, a Virginia woman named Juli Briskman followed Trump’s motorcade on her bike in Sterling, Virginia, while flipping the bird at the back of the president’s limo. “He was passing by and my blood just started to boil,” Briskman told reporters during her 15 minutes of fame.
Briskman was later fired for violating her employer’s social media policy after she used the viral photo as her profile picture on Facebook and Twitter. Karma, baby!
What did liberals do in response? They raised money for her.
This latest incident however just shows how out of control this is getting.
Who knows what intent this person had? Hopefully, the police find out.
But the left rewarding demonstrations of anger toward the President is a dangerous precedent that can prompt even more such demonstrations with people attempting to get the attention of media.
It’s a dangerous game and something with which the Secret Service and law enforcement officials shouldn’t have to deal.
Despite that, Trump still had the opportunity to play with some legends of golf. He played with PGA icon Jack Nicklaus and his son Gary.
He also got in a game with golfing legend Tiger Woods and the current No. 1 player in the world, Dustin Johnson
Golf Digest magazine recently crowned President Trump “the best-ever golfer president.” The billionaire has a 2.8 handicap, making him one of the best golfers in Washington, D.C., said Golf Digest.
“Sixteen of the past 19 presidents have played golf, but Trump is the best and most passionate golfer among them,” the magazine wrote.
That’s quite likely to stick in the craw of former President Barack Obama, who loves golf and seemed to play it at every critical moment when he should have been elsewhere. Yet he was still not a particularly good player.
