Hawai’i Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D) was a supporter of Bernie Sanders during the 2016 Democrat primaries.
She openly defied Hillary Clinton and the DNC, who we now know were colluding to keep Bernie from receving the nomination.
Gabbard served in a field medical unit while enlisted with the Hawai’i National Guard, and did a 12-month tour in Iraq.
She was promoted from Captain to Major in 2015.
Her thoughts on the Bowe Bergdahl situation? She’s not happy.
Letting Bowe Bergdahl walk free dishonors the sacrifice of Soldiers who were killed & injured while searching for him, & their families.

The point here is that even a socialist-supporting Democrat sides with President Trump on this issue and believes Bergdahl got off easy.
Yet, many in Gabbard’s party don’t feel the same.
More on the disgraced deserter, via Fox News:
President Trump tweeted Friday that Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl’s sentence– a dishonorable discharge, but no prison time for leaving his post in June 2009 — was a “complete and total disgrace.”
More than eight years after Bergdahl walked off his base in Afghanistan — and unwittingly into the clutches of the Taliban — Bergdahl walked out of a North Carolina courtroom a free man Friday. Bergdahl, who pleaded guilty to endangering his comrades, was fined, reduced in rank to E1 and dishonorably discharged — but he received no prison time.
Trump, aboard Air Force One en route to meetings in Asia, tweeted his disapproval of the sentence.
The decision on Sergeant Bergdahl is a complete and total disgrace to our Country and to our Military.

More on Gabbard and the rigged Democrat primaries, per Washington Examiner:
Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, D-Hawaii, a former vice chairman of the Democratic National Committee, said she is “not surprised” about former colleague Donna Brazile’s disclosure of the Clinton campaign’s takeover of the DNC’s finances and operations.
However, Gabbard, who resigned from the DNC in February 2016 in order to endorse Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., said she was shocked that the story went public.
“I was not surprised to read about what she wrote. I was surprised to see that it had been written about,” Gabbard said in an interview with the Young Turks on Thursday.
“I wasn’t privy to many of the detailed things that she talked about while I was serving there as vice chair,” she added. “It was something that, you know, had been spoken about in kind of vague terms that, ‘Hey this is a potential course of action that may be taken.’ But to have it laid out in such stark, blunt terms — again, I was not surprised that that happened, but I was a little bit surprised that it was put out there as it was today.”
Swapping Bowe for five Taliban prisoners was one of numerous lowlights for the Obama administration.
Men died searching for this traitor.
