Actor Ben Affleck Apologizes for Groping Woman in Old Video, But Second Incident Emerges

Actor Ben Affleck has apologized for groping a female interviewer after video of the 2001 incident re-emerged, today. But now a second video has come out showing the actor getting handsy with another female interviewer and it is far worse than the earlier release. Thus far Affleck has not addressed the second video.

On Wednesday, Affleck formally apologized for groping former MTV host-turned-actress Hilarie Burton, after video of the incident broke on the Internet, gossip site TMZ reported.

The interview resurfaced after the woman in it tweeted about the incident, TMZ said:

The incident came to light when former “Total Request Live” host tweeted, “I didn’t forget” in response to a fan tweeting Ben “also grabbed Hilarie Burton’s breasts on TRL once. Everyone forgot though” back in 2001.

Burton tweeted out an MTV video featuring her laughing about the incident like it was all just so Hollywood outraaaaageous and funny.

As soon as this video resurfaced, Affleck tweeted an apology saying, “I acted inappropriately toward Ms. Burton and I sincerely apologize.”

But as Wednesday rolled on, a second video showing Affleck acting like a drunken frat boy emerged and the second one is arguably much worse that the Burton video.

The second video is from 2004 and in it Affleck forces a Canadian woman to sit on his lap as he manhandles her and tells her to do the interview topless.

Also, about four minutes into the video, he mocks people with Cerebral Palsy.

As Daily Wire describes the video:

Compounding the Batman actor’s troubles, a resurfaced backstage video from 2004 of Affleck rubbing up on Box Office host Anne-Marie Losique is making the rounds on Facebook. While the woman is laughing, Affleck makes numerous sexual comments, such as recommending she do the interview “topless.” He also appears to mock the mentally disabled, slurring his words and deliberately moving his arm.

Daily Wire transcribed some of the action in the video:

“They would like it better if you did this show topless, the station, wouldn’t they?” asks Affleck, while hugging on Losique.

“You usually show a lot more cleavage than this,” he continues. “What’s the story?”

“It’s Sunday morning,” she replies.

“That’s never stopped you before, from getting them t***ies out,” responds Affleck.

After asking if they can do a “Janet Jackson stunt,” Affleck asks the host if she’s “wearing a nipple ring.”

He later mocks the mentally disabled, using the slur “retarded.”

“Don’t make me look like I am retarded!” he said. “I look like I have cerebral palsy … That maybe offends. We cannot offend — only in America.”

Affleck has yet to issue any statement about this second, and far worse, video of his untoward treatment of female interviewer Anne-Marie Losique.

The “Batman V Superman” actor was one of the first members of the Hollywood elite to criticize Harvey Weinstein after allegations that he sexually abused women were publicized.

Affleck may be ruing the day he sent out that tweet about Weinstein, though. With these two revelations that he acted inappropriately now out in the open, it would not be too surprising if other women come forward to accuse him of groping them, too.

Maybe he should have kept his head down knowing he had this history, no?

And as if on cue, makeup artist and costumer Annamarie Tendler‏ posted a tweet this afternoon also demanding an apology from Affleck.

“I would also love to get an apology from Ben Affleck who grabbed my ass at a Golden Globes party in 2014,” she wrote.

Uh, oh. How many more are lurking out there for Batflack?
